1. Lima / Huaraz – Chiquian

the transfer will be with the luxury bus of EL RAPIDO, taking the Pan-American high way to the north side from Lima until the Lima and Ancash department’s boundary in the district of Paramonga, from here we’ll start to climb the Cordillera Negra in its west side with direction to the highest pass from today Conococha 4500 masl. Here we’ll find a small peasant village called Conococaha next to this village we will find a lake with the same name. From here we can already appreciate the views where the Cordillera Blanca starts, and just 50 kilometers aprox south from the Cordillera Blanca lays Cordillera Huayhuash. From Conocoha we will drive in the east side for about 15 km, called Mojon, so we will appreciate Huayhuash mountain range complete, then continue going down unpaved zig-zag trail until to arrive Chiquian 3450 masl. Then transfer immediately to the GRAND HOTEL HUAYHUASH, welcome pisco souer, dinner and overnight


2. Chiquian – Huallanca – Huanucoviejo

After the breakfast in the hotel HUAYHUASHm we will aboard the bus and start traveling along the Ainin river, passing by several villages of Pampan, Aquia, and Pachapaqui, from here in a few hours we will get the Yanashallash pass 4680 masl, then continue by the Antamina’s high paved way until Huallanca 3450 masl, here we will have lunch in the basic Restaurant, and continue along the river Vizcarra until La Union province, here we will have the chance to buy basic supplies such as mineral water, soda water etc. Then we will continue going upside of La Union for about 30 minutes and we will reach a biggest flat area where are the ruins of Huanucoviejo, and we will observe arriving and leaving the Inka Trail from and to Cusco, where our guide will inform us detailed, dinner and camp next to the Hunucoviejo ruins 3700 masl.


3. Huanucoviejo – Queropalca

Then in the morning after the breakfast we will have guided visit the Hunucoviejo ruins for about 2 hours, and then we will aboard the Car and start driving in the south side of hunucoviejo passing by Iscocancha, Rondos, we will continue to Baños district where we can appreciate the Inka’s bath with hotsprings next to the Inka trail, we will have lunch here and buy soda drinks in Baños, continue to Santa Rosa small village, and drive to Queropalca arriving around 5pm or 6pm to the very basic lodging house, dinner and overnight in Queropalca


4. Queropalca – Carhuacocha

G¡breakfast in the lodging hose provided by our personnel and start hiking up along the carhuacocha river, after to walk for about 5 hours up we will get Carhuacocha, and we will enjoy the beauty of charming of this lake, then we will prepare our camping next to the lake, we will arrive early in the afternoon and we will have time to walk around the camp site, dinner and overnight in carhuacocha
